Need insight

hey guys try not to give me too much crap for this thread, im researching now because when i graduate college in 3 semesters i want to pick up a r3 rx8. My question is whats the best route to get around 350 rwhp turbo or supercharger? thanks in advance for any advice

From what I hear, the Series II is really short on major power options.

Series I guys are getting to where you want to be with turbo and super chargers.

I have no plans in that realm, so have not been following. Try searching and reading. There is a lot of data. BTW, I think you posted a Series II question in the Series I area, so might need to back up and look at that too.

sorry about that i may have, iv been doing a good amount of reading guess i need to do more. I may pick up a series one because you can find them way cheaper so id be able to mod itr faster. And yea i have seen a limted supply of after market parts avaible for the series two. do you think it will grow or take awihle? thanks again

With the apparent end of the 8, at least for awhile, I do not see a lot of folks building parts. There are some threads here that say the same thing. I would not bet on much for the Series 2, but I could be wrong, and I have not been paying attention.

ok well im definately going to buy a series one rx8 and turbo it, will the stock motor handle 350whp or would that be time to build the rotary motor?

that makes sence, i was making 300whp in my neon before i sold it. So im looking to step it up just a little bit. But i understand what your saying i guess if i made 330whp i wouldnt be mad. I just cant make up my mind if i want to go turbo again or try using a supercharger.

i really really appreciate that advice and will research less about forced iduction for awhile. Because i would love to get into road course racing.
