2 IAT connections and one BOV.

I'm going to use The IAT's to test the little finned heat exchangers, but I planing on leaving them pre and post intercooler.

Brettus, i believe you, i didn't see anyone but you and mm's stuff before i started buying. Plus there were several things i wanted and didn't see. And i didn't want to buy something then scrap a good portion of it or just have it sitting around for nothing.

Water Cooled turbo, air/water intercooler, i didn't want to beat in my floor board or melt
My carpet. Something capable of 600 engine hp(not figuring ill ever get there, just thinking its generally better to have too much not too little). 3" intake to the turbo or bigger. Keep my sohn and omp, external wastegate(i don't really know why i just want it)bigger turbine wheel to cold side wheel. The only upgraded greddys all seam to keep the same size turbine. I wanted a larger turbine than normally used with a smaller ar. Ball bearing turbo.

Ive managed to get all of them.

My comment in the other thread was directed more at the way you built your manifold . The midddle runner and end plate feed into the same small diameter tube

I didn't mean to thread jump. I just didn't figure this should be in his thread.

Yes they are all the same size. How do you think i should have run them. I went pretty large on them. I believe they are 1.75" inner diameter. I don't remember at the moment. They might be 1.5" id.

You should have had 3 tubes going all the way to the turbo inlet . Like the one I posted.

Are you sure those Brass fittings and drain tube will hold up to the heat?

I wouldn't worry about the brass fittings. They can handle much more heat than the fluids inside of them. Needs a heat shield or you might end up coking the oil in the drain line though, just a thought.

Yeah brass has a melting point around 2300 f. The manifold has lava wrap on it and i figured id leave it open to cool
Off better.

Ah Okay, I always read the max operating temp for brass fittings was 250F.

That's typically with brass fluid fittings that are operating near or close to their max pressure. And increase of internal pressure = decrease in max fluid temp allowed.

how to use the same sensors in different sizes

Well I bought a couple of nice cheap gm water sensors with plugs, but I didn't know what Size they were. I needed 1/4" NPT and they came as 3/8" NPT.

But they came with a temp/voltage scale. So I guess I'll machine one down and thread it. I have to go pick up a 1/4" NPT Die.

I chucked up the sensor in my drill and used a tie warp to keep it spinning. then used a carbide bit on the dremel to remove the threads and bring it down to size for the Die. A little 80 grit sandpaper to finish it off and give it a nice smooth tapper.

Is your ECU going to be using the temp from those sensors, or are they for an external gauge?

These are for data logging on the intercooler and radiator to know what heat soak is doing.

I have a iat sensor installed after the intercooler. It feeds into the ecu. The iat in the maf sensor is disabled.

No open dump. Use like a electronic valve for a open dump instead

This is wot from 2000 to 3000rpm. With the waste gate dialed as low as possible.

Still working on the tune. Just started on it.

yeap. I am working on the base tune. I just wanted to see positive pressure. I also don't have water running to my intercooler yet.

Drift button installed easy enough. I had hell getting the cover off. It was glued on and took a lot but just pulled off. A little tweaking of the control rod. And an extension from all thread and a long nut.
