Not shy, Not much has changed. been busy with a few projects and some schooling lately. The car while very important to me is not my top priority. I built a shed in my backyard this weekend to make more room for cars and tooling in the garage. I recently picked up a friends car who is working on a 20b build I plan on helping with. This week I hope to install the extended USB cable to the cab so I can get to work tweaking the tune this weekend.

Just a quick update. The car is running like absolute garbage with the adaptronic. I have been fairly busy with personal stuff and have not had a ton of time to work on the project. I hope to get back into it elbows deep this coming weekend. I just put the cable on order to run the adaptronic off of my innovate wideband rather than the stock O2 sensor and plan on installing the sakebomb coils. I hope to get it running better soon.

What is your plan for tuning the adaptronic? DIY or hiring it out?

In theory the setup has an auto tuning function and with the correct set up it should nearly tune itself. I'm on the fence at the moment with what i want to do.

Agreed, the good thing is the switch to a map based setup is it should open up my options on local tuners.

Well that is one of the topics that is infinitely debated. Personally I like the idea of getting actual manifold pressure and tuning for that. The possibility of a small leak or quick transition into boost/vacuum is scary to think about that far down the system from the sensor on a FI system when trying to compensate for proper metering.

Hoss-05 is busy, he just graduated and is starting a new career so updates are slow. Hopefully we can manage getting him to Steve here soon and get the retune done with the new injector setup and adaptronic managing boost control. Real life doesn't GAF about rotary life some times,

Putting the uncapped blues in P2 and the black 1000cc ones in p1. I hope to have the blues flow tested next week for actual hard numbers.

No, its not how they got to me. I think shell originally owned them, traded them to 9krpmrx8 and somehow they ended up on my car. I had no idea they were uncapped and was tuning for the capped blues and having all sorts of issues. the 1k injectors are of the stock impedance and flow 1k at 60 psi (5-0 motorsports) I want to get those blues flow tested next week.

Not the steel caps ..was talking about the plastic caps .............. They seal on the plastic cap at the bottom of the injector. Yours don't have that cap so they won't seal very well.
