I was never chasing a HP figure but we shall see how it pans out with the new mods. The new wastegate actuator operates way better than the old one so I am hoping that equates to some performance gains. The turbo is now on it's own cooling circuit with it's own heat ex-changer, pump, and failsafe and I have the oil pressure regulator setup all dialed in so the turbo should be happy. The final touches will be the intercooler sprayer setup and water/meth. But those will have to wait until after Christmas.

Yes. One of the things I like with my RX8 is the ability to rev high and still keep a flat torque. If I'm going FI, then I'd like to keep this feature as much as possible, but get spool as early as possible, and lag as short as possible(nothing groundbreaking new wishes in other words). Therefore I'd guess the smallest turbo that supports Aux ports intact would be the best solution for my preferences. Does that make it clearer what I'm looking for?

It isn't all about the compressor ......... The stock turbine wheel (clipped) works well for the 57trim but is definately wrong for a 60-1 . I imagine a change to the 11 blade turbine wheel would benefit the H3 ,as it does for the 60-1 .

I have a goal 380-400 wph. All changes are on the way to that plan.
Custon Turbo job by Turbo outlet in PR $375.00.
My friend from Psychiatrist mechanic and Dyno Jet in Bayamon PR makes me all modifications. Has over 30 years rotary engine experience.

For now I'm going to mount the turbine unchanged, with the external wastegate and reprogramming of the Haltech re 500. The last next step would apex seal, custom port, new pump and some other trick.

Well .......... I put a 60-1 in my Gredddy turbo and left the same turbine in it . That made it spool really slowly . Putting a turbine wheel more suitable for the much larger compressor wheel should make a big difference in both spoolup and overall flow. There might not be anything available for the garrret

ajntsa ...

60-1 with that hot side? Not seeing it .... the hot side is too small on a GT3076 for a 2 rotor. 60-1 is essentially a GT35xx compressor and will need something close on the hot side to dpool it up and also not choke

.
