the grenade comes from flooding in my experience It actually blown my thouttle body open in the process but engine was just fine. I don't think its nothing wrong with your engine tho but keep us posted.

any updates?
the intercooler can lay flat but give it some angel like a V mount and install the under tray with a small opening for the front of the intercooler, same width about half the hight

Engine is currently in the process of being rebuilt, builder ordered the parts about a week ago. The rebuild was sort of at a stand still for the last few weeks since I moved and changed jobs which tied up funds for a little bit.

Rebuild. And it will be going in on friday.
I have a thread on rx7club for the repu. Not much going on with it other than daily driver duty since my main goal is to get the rx8 running properly. The repu will be getting some major attention though down the road.
