How have you got the WI setup? Is it coming on progressively from low boost or have you got it starting closer to peak boost?

I'm just turning it on at around 11psi . With the slowish spoolup i have it's not an issue as flow is pretty high at that point .

Wow that piping work is niiiice - very tight!

Still curious about that right side motor mount... did you keep the loop above and below?

Shocked you don't have the greddy oil pan in there lol

looks great man!! I really like the new subframe support, its functional but much much smaller, the welds look fantastic too, and the flex pip is smart kudo's to that guy. I need to go through the 16 pages and find more details, most of its just chatter....

I suggest you add a second stage of water injection around 14psi. Or it might be 20psi and bust.

He builds manifolds for turbo drift cars and gives a 5 year warranty with them . So he knows how to make them last . He was also very particular about supporting the turbo and downpipe.

He did a good job with the area available . It was never going to be pretty , but all the flow paths are excellent. Which was more important to me .

Yep, that is not easy to do. Most fabricators around here wouldn't or couldn't touch that with a ten foot pole.

The good news is that with what I've learned already from this , I can see big benefits to changing the design of other more conventional manifolds that will be much easier to fabricate.

Was thinking low mount . Would be hard to incorporate a good design in a top mount (unless you weren't concerned about spoolup).

On second thoughts :
Maybe with one of Team's EFRs you would get decent spoolup..................

He tried to tell you...

Now image the spool up of a EFR inplace of your outdated GT35R

.

You didn't read the thread . I would have bought an EFR if I had thought it would have fitted . You can see how cramped it is already with the GT35 down there .

If someone ever manages to fit the correctly sized EFR (8374) down there and gets a better overall result than I end up with. My hat will go off to them .

Found that here

Turbo specifications explained | Master Power

if someone could find a better compare table i would love to see it. if you notice the bottom is a t3 flange with a 1.00a/r has the largest area. larger then a t4 1.00a/r I wish I new what the flow side means, anyways it seems that area is more important, and a t3 1.00 is larger then one my think.
I have a T4 .83 on my setup....

based on the standard you set for this build it seems that even you don't have a better overall result yet

ps: they're not *my* EFR's either and the spoolup is proven, like many things it usually happened somewhere else long before you saw it here
