Boosting my rx8

Boosting my rx8
I am new to all this so please do not hate!
I have been told numerous things and I was just looking to get some better answers.
I have my 05 Shinka Rx8 with a 13b renesis. I am trying to get it to around 400hp.
I have been told that I can only run 8lbs or i will blow my motor but then some people say if I have new injectors and seals and what not I can run more.
What I have done already:
1. New injectors (1000cc InjectorDynamics)
2. Street Port
3. Every seal is brand new (FD goopy seals)
I want to kow how much lbs of boost I can run and if I can run more then 8lbs like I have been told and how many HP do you think I will get with what I have done already...

I am 100% serious with this...
Read this thread that started a short time ago with another Shinka owner: https://www.rx8club.com/lounge-4/nee...4/#post4410193
Not only is there some valuable information about the answers you are looking for, there is also some valuable information about asking for help and getting the answers.
My apologies if I come off a bit short at the moment.
(Moving this to the major horsepower mod section as well)

Can anyone just answer my questions about this. Like I said I am new to all this and I am in the process right now. I just need to know if I am in the right direction to aim for 400hp and if what I am doing is okay or I might blow my motor...

Sigh.
See my modding thread. It lists problems with making power and general caps. No, you can't hit 400whp easily at all, and almost certainly not on the engine build you have. 300whp is going to be doable, but not easily or simply.
See my modding thread for more info.
After the guy in the thread I linked, I don't have much patience for people looking to be spoon fed answers right now.

roger that--you will never have a reliable 400 rwhp 13msp engine without some major work.
Matter of fact I know of no one that is driving a dd 400rwhp 13 msp engine. There may be one--but I dont know of any.
I do know some 300+ ( less than 350 ) rwhp folks that are doing it.

What does running more than 8lbs mean?
Judging by your post no, you can't achieve that result. It's a really hard and expensive task for the ones who know what they're doing. A category you definitely don't fit in.

I have 4 1000cc secondary injectors, I have it street ported and polished, 8lbs of boost, and all new seals. (Going to get it DynoTuned)
I was just wondering on some general knowledge of what I should expect HP wise.. I don't know why half of you guys troll and **** and not just help or give some advice.

It goes like this, pretty much:
We see your severe lack of detail along with the hot words of turbocharging. You haven't mentioned anything about the critical stuff and only mentioned the things that piston guys do when they go for a HP number. It makes us very skeptical that you will actually have an engine that survives.
So why don't we give you the information you need? Because we are pretty sure that you have missed far too many critical things for us to even know where to begin for what you need to do to fix it. But we are also pretty sure that you aren't interested in listening to what we have to say. You haven't bothered to learn from the information already on here to even know what type of question to ask, so why would that change now?
So the responses are largely just dark humor while we wait for you to blow your engine, and either come back asking intelligently why (unlikely) or come back complaining like crazy about the engine, your tuner, or this community, rather than complaining about the one person whose fault it is actually going to be: YOURS.
You won't be the first to follow this route. Not even in the top 50. It's all far too predictable to us, and until or unless you actually want to start learning and listening and reading, we know that actual responses are largely worthless. A waste of time.
Commenting on it it still popular however, like the group of guys watching a ballgame of a the top ranked team against the bottom ranked team. They know what's coming, and can't stop commenting on it anyway. You might pull off a hail mary and surprise everyone, but you opted to stack the odds against yourself.

400 HP is a very very rare club if indeed its happened at all depends on what you believe.
I'm going to assume you mean 400 to the wheels.
You'll need to do a lot more than porting the engine to get with any kind of reliability.
If you knew anything about boosting a 13B MSP you wouldn't be asking how to get to 400.
8lbs not likely to even get close to 300
You need bigger fuel pump
Oil cooling
Radiator
Tuning
Internals
Drivetrain
Etc etc
Do you even know what type of setup you want?

OP needs to move to Puerto Rico.
Really surprised we're up to 20 posts and no one knows what turbo will be used running 8 lbs of bewst to reach 400rwhp.
14-20 lbs of boost on a low compression motor just might be the answer LOL
