Haha no auction it came from a private seller, the previous owner kept the plates as they were personalized.

Update! Sevenstock is tomorrow and Brettus finally decided to take me up on my offer to come out and see it with his very own eyes. First thing we do when he checks into LA Casa De Gregs...we install my Mac 46 solenoid haha. Hoefully we have some more updates for you after this weekend if we can stop drinking beers Name: 20151105_162107_zpsglrssyyc.jpg

Tuning is done for the day. We have the EBC dialed in to maintain boost through the entire rpm range now there's a very noticeable difference in power however once we reached 10 psi the ignition coils were not up to the task, after performing a test turns out we have 3 out of 4 coils that are underperforming. I'm currently trying to source some replacement coils and get back on track while I have Brettus here in person. Here's a shot from earlier today while out making noise.

Running into some misfire conditions eh? I noticed mine does that once every blue moon at about 11 PSI. Its tempting me to look at the BHR ignition lol.

Well I have the BHR kit with less than 1k miles on mine. Now that I have run into this minor setback it has opened my eyes on preventative and expectations on what should be done before going into the FI'd world. Everyone needs to test spark on d585 coils. The more we drove the car the condition became worse even turning the boost down did not resolve the issue.

Weird how some have issues and others don't, I am running about 11-13psi right now, my BHr kit was purchased about 6 years ago. You tested spark and found an issue?

yeah we did a spark test, the entire time driving at lower boost never has shown this issue until we went for 10psi then it just became worse from there. The car drives great on the street it only becomes present under boost

Acceptable AFR's under boost when this happens? So the coils tested fine at idle then?

Cheap fix if it is the coils.

If and when mine die I will try these.

Had the same issue around 7-10k miles with my coils, car drove fine out of boost but once i hit boost at all it just fell on its face.
I dont know how many were shot but we replaced them all and the issue went away and has not come back since.

I've also had mine for about 3 years with no issues.

Gregs glad to see the kit is capable of mainting 10psi to redline. Making me consider it in the future. Thanks for the update! Good luck with the coils
