You can see here that the bushing was going as well. The bushing on the S2 arm was a different design. I will take a pic of it when I do the other side to show you guys.
Got any details on that plate? Just curious what it looks like. I will be using the old arm on the R3 so I can keep it mobile. I was planning to drill it and use a long bolt just to keep it together so I can still use the wheel dollies to move the R3 when I need too.

Yeah I mean these are 12 years old and have 143,000 miles on them so I would say they did their job well. But the heat definitely doesn't help I am sure.

Yeah I am not looking forward to swapping out all the parts but some of the other balljoints look a little rough so I just need to suck it up and knock it out. I wish this had happened two months ago when it was still cool outside,
I will take pics of the after I cleaned all that ****. What is crazy is that I do clean the underside of my car from time to time when it is on stands. The amount of gunk that was in the subframe where the LCA bolts up was nuts.
It's pricey at $60.00 but the k&N RU-3130 was rubbing a bit and damaging and moving the filter and causing weird running issues. But it only rubbed because my aluminum air diversion panel is held on with rivet nuts and bolts instead of the factory plastic clips.
The new one has a 3.5' flange but is only 4" in diameter.
I think that's the one I found also. Do you have water problems with it?
No but I did before with the previous version of the intake. This one pushes out more to the bumper so the way the water runs off the hood it doesn't hit the filter.
Yeah it works but i really want to get away from these types of filters. I am thinking about a box setup using a OEM type panel filter that can be replaced without removing the bumper. We just need to figure out how to get it all to fit.

That does NOT look like a properly polished under-bumper area. I find this both shocking and disturbing!
I have it set up in push mode for MAF recirculated discharge. I just followed the instructions and have it at the least amount of preload.
I love the synapse DV, I have had no problems with it at all and personally I think a VTA BOV sounds silly on a small turbo, small engine car. Even recirculated BOV's sound kind of silly IMO.
I did have the Greddy before and this is just much quieter. But then again the Greddy was a BOV that was recirculated and this is a diverter valve so it's probably not a fair comparison.
A cool feature of the Synapse also is that if you have a popular BOV already, you can get the Synapse with the flange for your BOV so no rewelding is needed.
I have the same DV as 9K. It's quiet until you start to run some boost through it. I mean over 15psi. The days when I was trying to dial in the EBC I could really tell when the DV opened. It's a nice distinct gush of air when letting off the throttle under boost. I'm recirculated
