Angry Visoir vanity mirror spring failed

The spring that supports the vanity mirror cover/flap has failed in both the driver and passenger side so now the cover is unsupported, just sags down. Is there a quick fix for this? Buying new visors seems kinda silly for this.

I did search and there's a DIY for cracked visor repair but nothing about the vanity mirror.
