System is done! Finally
The complete list.
Eclipse AVN5510 headunit, with ipod interface, sirus satelliete radio, backup camera, steering wheel controls hooked up, navigation.
Polk db6501 front speakers, polk db5251 rear speakers
Alpine PDX-4.100 speaker amp
Memphis 16-MC1000D subwoofer amp
2 Alpine Type R SWR-1042D subwoofers
The system sounds really nice.
Has anyone ever had to replace there back window? My is rattiling around pretty nice lol.

grats on the install, got pics?
Never had to replace the rear window despite the dual JL subs in the trunk. Double check that rear panel, sometimes the clips that snap in come loose with the bass so it can cause the rattle.

got any pics? Im in the middle of buy my 8 and want to put my sound system from my old car into the 8. Was wondering how you took the old radio out? Hard or not to bad? How did u get the heat gauges out? is it one solid piece or two separate?

I had tons of problems
lol. Nothing ever goes smooth but I can't complain of the out come.

taking the head unit out is not difficult. the only hard part would be the bolt behind the dash. some have them and some dont. thats a pain to get out

Looks to be a nice setup. Seriously though, if you do shatter the back window be prepared to pay a ton of cash.
