Subs in between the back seats

I know I've seen this done, the panel in between the two back seats replaced with subs, but I can't seem to find them. I'd like to know if anyone on here has done it and if so, who made the box? I think it looks really nice and I'm wanting to buy subs for my 8 so I'm trying to find the best way to set them up before I do. Thanks in advance

i disklike the look and the sound of every 8 i've heard with a sub in the center pass through. The rattle is annoying, and everyone i've heard has had a rattle to some degree.

A sub or even a pair of subs looks misplaced to me there. The PS2 idea wasn't bad. Just stick the subs in the back or put them on the top rear trunk panel.

In my case, there was no rattle... but the 8" sub that did fit, did not give enough fill.

To the OP: just forget about this idea and get something that is in the trunk. It will sound much better.
The passthrough sub route is not worth it. Trust me on this.

I've seen pics of that 8 before..... but I'd be really interested to hear how it sounds. I'd honestly pay money to listen to it for awhile. Just out of curiosity.

Anyone think of a square 8" or two/ More push for the size? Solo L7? I have considered the in box and chop a hole in the pass through. There was a guy that used a mazda emblem from a truck or something too.
