What are the specs/features of the standard sound system?

Nearly 50 views and no replies? I looked through the other threads in this forum, but I'm still confused.

Some say that the standard (not Bose) system will have 4 speakers others say 6, some say that it will come without a CD player and some say that it will have a CD player. I know a 6CD-changer is optional, but will the standard system have at least a single CD player?

Help...?

No one in the UK can help you because both the Lo and Hi power models come with: BOSE HiFi with AM/FM Radio, 6CD Changer incl. 9 Speakers. Have you contacted Mazda directly and asked?

How about the PDF of the RX8 Presskit ?
Check out page 49 of the PDF for standard and premium sound system plus speaker placement.

Both will come with CD but until they arrive, we really don't know if they will be single CD on all packages with the 6CD optional. Or, as many of us hope, they make the 6CD standard in some of the US packages. If the 6CD is on the accessory list when it is released, we will know it is not standard on all RX8s.
