shift knob: better to go heavier or lighter?

shift ****: better to go heavier or lighter?
The weight range is all over the place for after market shift ***** which is great because it gives us more options. Is there a benefit with going heavier vs. lighter? Does a heavier **** provide a smoother shift but deaden the feel? Just the apposite with a lighter ****?
I'm looking at a 400g Razo RA66 but I see some other lighter versions that I like as well.

The piano black voodoo is hot and is on my radar. There are some good deals on the RA66 though and since it was heavy I am considering it. What is the weight on the piano black ****?
Since this thread is really about weight, what is considered heavy? 200g+ 300g+

Mmm, I don't know about the weight...
I just ordered the MS poly one and got it yesterday... I almost crap on my pants when I felt how heavy it was... only to find out that the std one that comes with the car is as heavy as the MS one...
So... I can't make myself install the new one... it is going to kill me knowing that that piece is so damn heavy...

for street type shifting; easy & light, heavier is better because the momentum helps carry it into the next gear
for racing/drag shifting; fast & hard, lighter is better because the momentum wants to carry past the detent stop, which is how you bend internal forks etc.

So, I have deciced that the MS's urethane shift **** is TOO heavy. A shame since it is has a really nice feeling to it, and I like how it looks...
Anyways, I have been looking at Razo's. Either RA43 or RA55. I can't find their web site to see if they have weights posted... any idea?
PS. Yeah, I know, I have issues... I embrace 'em though...

I was looking at the NRG CF round **** on Ebay last night. Its appears to be real CF and "looks" really good. My only issue is that the **** comes with inserts meaning it is not a direct screw-on made for our cars. Not sure about weight either. The VooDoo original size round **** I just purchased is definitely a bit lighter than the stock ****. I personally like heavier ***** for the pendulum effect it provides.

The NGR look really good... no weights though...
RAZO Performance RA104 is just 85 grams but I am not sold on the looks. I think I am going to go for the RA43A, just 103 grams...
