Have been checking the scene a little for a roof mounted DVD/TV player for the kids to watch in the back.

Who has seen an RX-8 with one fitted yet...?

Any links or pics.?

Note: After searching back to 2004 I found one mounted at front of roof near windscreen & thats it......

Something like this one below but smaller & more suitable to our cars.

I would put one in the back of the Passenger seat.. Not the Roof. it will obscure your rear view in the 8. But you can mount that any wear. For the kids. Hang one off the passenger seat back. Or install on in the back of the seat - Back.

They make holders for DVD players that you can drape over the back of your seat. This gives you the bonus of being able to take the shiny expensive DVD player OUT of the car when you park in a bad neighborhood.

Visible DVD player in your car == theft magnet
