fisrt off I want to purshase a roll bar for mr RX-8 but what I had found out by my insurance company which is [state farm]is that if I install it and get in to colllision they won't cover my car at all. does this sound right at all..

Sounds right. That doesn't mean its right, but it sounds like what an insurance company would do.

Even though your car would be safer with a roll cage, they assume you're going to be racing it, which isn't covered under any normal warranty.

yep thats what they had told me. thinking that i would use this car as a race car or something. because as much as stuff cost for this car as performace goes like would like to feel safe as well to. humm i need to figure some thing out
