M Theory: Code Red

There doesn't seem to be a pattern for the speaker if I'm just idling, but while driving the passenger side speaker will sort of short out on me. It seems that there's a wire in there messing something up so I took the car to a shop and they removed the door panel and said that I have a bad amp. If I had a bad amp, wouldn't it just continue to be out and not work randomly? I've tried to search for a code or something to put into the head unit and it trouble shoot to see if there are any problems that it recognizes.... but I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know of these or where I can find them? Any help is much appreciated.

no "codes" for the headunit , its not that smart

swap the speaker from passenger side to drivers side using the same amps and wiring in the doors, that narrows down the speaker

if no then swap amps only and see if it carries to the other side, narrows down the amp.

if still no luck then try resetting the headunit. i think just disconnecting the neg. battery cable is the easiest way

i have whatever you need to fix it if you wanna troubleshoot or need other help lmk
