Removing steering wheel trim

Anyone know how to remove the steering wheel trim pieces? The pieces that are around the volume and cruise controls? I've tried looking all over for a way to do it but came up with nothing. Don't want just try prying and f-in stuff up.:/

If I recall correctly, you have to remove the steering wheel and access the screws behind.

I vaguely remember because the last time I removed my steering wheel was 2-3 years ago.
