Thumbs up GTA car kits Aux input for iPhone/iPod

I've tried FM modulators and two "eBay brand" aux input devices and GtA car kits is far and away the BEST!! For $100 it's worth every penny! Just wanted to give you guys the heads up on a great company with a great product!! After so many headaches with other crud products that "sort of work" and spending a couple hundred on garbage I'm excited to have my iphone4 hooked up and working flawlessly!!

Hi firebirdude,

What is you opinion on this product? I am thinking of purchasing it
Myself. I don't have an iPod but seems like a nice easy plug amend play aux
Mod.

I have the Bose system and bought a FM transmitter. Absolutely hate
The sound quality via the FM thus never use it. Seems this should be able to send
A better quality signal?

I've had the GTA car kit. But after two or three months it started to have some problems. white noise and sparking sounds. The aux port worked great. I looked at the cables to see if they were loose, but nothing... Since this was in the winter I started to think it couldn't handel the Norwegian winter, but I don't know...

But when it was working it truly was great! And easy install!

Bought the kanatec kit and a pioneer headunit after I started having problems with it. never looked back.

The fact double nickel hasn't posted a single time since this initial post only buttresses my spam statement. I'd avoid the product from a pure principle stand point if nothing else. Deceptive/shill reviews? Come on guys... If the English wasn't so good, I'd think you were in China.

I am a new user on this website, as my wife just got her rx-8 a few weeks ago, but I can attest to the quality of this product. I was skeptical at first, but reviews for the kit were what pushed me to try it. For 100 dollars you can't go wrong, most aftermarket head units are more than that, which for me is what I would otherwise get to plug my iPhone in.
The nature of the dash, what with the integrated *****, would require much more effort and money without this kit.

I have only had it for a couple weeks, so I cannot comment on its longevity, but one thing I do notice is that my phone gets really hot when it's plugged in. Not sure if it's something wrong or a combination of the heat from charging and heat from the shifter lights (I ran the cable to the cup holders).

A few nice things about this kit is that it charges your phone, you can use your steering wheel controls, and if you are a spotify premium user like myself, the controls will still skip your music on that program as well

Anyways, I recommend this product 100%
Hope this helps
Craig
