Radio antenna connection location?

I just purchased a 2007 Rx8. I've tried searching multiple threads and can't find any info on how and where the antenna connection is on the rear window. I have VERY degraded FM reception and 0 am so I think it is simply an antenna connection problem but I can't find any docs on where the connection is located. Any help, links, and or pics would be Greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about the connection to the rear window. Have you checked the connection on the back of your head unit?

I pulled the radio hu out when I repaired the connections to my heater control. The antenna coax was pinched back there. I was able to pull it loose without damaging the cable. It could be a good place to start.

I haven't tracked the antenna wire in the RX8, but VERY often, there is a connection under one of the kick panels or behind the glove box. It's usually just a male/female connection, to an extension and on to the rear of the car from there. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. I found the answer in the manual. As a wild thought I looked in the BODY section of the manual and the connection to the rear window antenna is actually a the top of the rear windshield and comes through the head liner. I noticed a little thing hanging down in that area. The previous owner was in Miami and had dark window tint installed as well as a cheap aftermarket xm radio. Apparently when they had the windows tinted the morons that did it figured it was just to hard to cut 1/4 inch out of the tint and just pulled the connetion (or cut it haven't looked in detail yet) and put the window tint over the antenna connection. Since the previous owner had XM either they didn't care or didn't notice. So this weekend I get to remove the tint and see if I can reconnect the antenna.

BTW here is a good article on how to remove window tint. I found if anyone is interested.
