Ok, so since it would appear that I haven't had any responses in my previous thread (Disign for my RX-8) I thought I would start a new thread to deal with this issue.

What are/is the minimum I need from the radio/temp controls in order to hook up the temp controls and have the corresponding modes display on the main display?

There is a rather large circuit board that connects to the front of the radio, and that temp controls connect to. From this board, there appears to be a lead that goes along the left side of the radio, and ultimately ends in a plug that connects to the main display (that is if I am recalling correctly).

Thus...is the main circuit board my only necessity? I don't need to show any features of the audio (radio station, cd, etc) since I am replacing the radio.
I do need to show, however, the outside temp, time, the current temp mode)

Also, if someone knows how to tie into this yet to get it to display other text...please let me know.
