I know your a good forum member and knows how to search.. look for the corksprort kit (for the d3) or there are some single din units for above the LCD if you want to go with the N1 for whatever stupid reason.

is there any one have N2 and put it on the top of the dash where the OEM navi is replaced? how do you like it put it there?

and the D3 will take the whole section, do you just find a bracket to fit it?

A few people have put 1 din units in where the NAV goes. That way they keep all the climate controls. You could also put a 1 din in the Corkspoet kit and fill the other din with something like gauges. There is a 1 din gauge kit out there that Defi makes.

Eclipse AVN5435 Navigation/DVD Head unit w/custom fabricated dash

It's an older unit. There are better versions out now.

I have the D3 w/ corksport kit. I was the first to admit the fit is not 100% perfect. But I don't have gaps at all sides like previously claimed. I would say the fit is 93%. lol

To the OP, the D3 and N2 are two total different animals. The N2 is single-din. Check out some pictures of that single din top hood BS that is sold. Looks like garbage IMO. Your options are corksport now, 100% custom fabbed now, or wait until Metra or this other member comes out with something else for the 8's.

That setup looks great. The Eclipse Dvd/Navigation unit with custom frame kit is polished work. By the looks of it Corksport kit sucks! Tell me something....where did you go to get the LCD unit installed? Also where did you get stereo frame kit. I want to get one soon! If you can custom make the frame for me I will pay for this via paypal to pimp my ride right away!

It’s a shame people keep knocking down the CorkSport kit. While everyone admits that it’s not 100% for most of us it’s the best option we have. I for one could not afford to have a custom kit made even though I would have loved to. And as for looking like s@#t, I don’t think mine does and I have had a lot of complements on it. Just my opinion.

Ya, It's a Mazda one but I need to cut a few inches off the lever. Just haven't got around to it yet.
