Installed the new Pioneer AVIC 6000 yesterday. Took about 5 hours for the install and a few hours to learn how to operate most of the functions and program a few of the nuisances (like a voice telling you when you are driving 1 mile an hour over the speed limit....). Metra kits worked perfectly with no issues with the HVAC controls. Clock/text easily programmed. Steering wheel controls worked well.

If you don't use the Nav, just disconnect the speedometer wire. No more annoying voices.

Not use the Nav? That function is one of the main reasons why I bought this unit.

Also, it is much simpler to use the settings and turn the speeding audio warning off. I still have a small visual warning when exceeding the speed limit, and that sometimes is helpful.

Haha, just one way to make them go away.. but I will say I have installed this unit in a couple cars myself and its a great stereo. Looks good bud!
