Post Nav Lcd

Hi, anybody knows if the Nav's Lcd screen is true color or only 8 or 16 colours like Porsche's nav screen. I want to install a DVD player.

Thanks

Guess no one knows for sure, so I will render an opinion. My "guess" is this is suitable for movies. In a panasonic uk site they offer a DVD movie player with this screen. They probably don't in the US due to our litigous nature. I'm not familiar with Porshe, but besides them the vast majority of screens are ok for movies. Poke around the Panasonic or panasonic uk sites or give them a call then post the answer here.

i'm not 100% sure but i'd take a stab that the LCD screen itself is capable of whatever the DVD-Rom unit can give it...i'd guess that the DVD-Rom unit has a graphics card chip built-in in order to process the data and if it can display 16 colors, 256 colors, 4096 colors, 16-bit color, or 32-bit color is all up to the DVD-Rom unit and not the LCD monitor...i could be wrong
