so im looking at doing some things to the interior of my car. i have been reading threads on the interior and have came up with some ideas from other members and wanna see what others think of these ideas. I was looking at painting the interior door handles Velocity Red the pic is from 04wb8 thread, getting the Zeta arm rest and making the rotor logo red, painting the rotors in the seat red like Easy E1 thread, then painting the cover to the trunk red somewhat like 05rex8 or steakboy. then i wanna do something like what midlifer did with his door pannels. and maybe even painting the small area on the stereo controls on the steering wheel. here are some pics i found from other threads. let me know what you think, if its ricey or would be a waste of time, or what you think would look best painted.

the blue is too much. more subtlety would be good. the red pass-through cover is awesome. the seatback rotors look kinda cool, but i think it depends on your interior. the ebrake handle, again, depends on your interior. i like the stock look for the armrest, but it comes down to personal opinion

Yeah, the blue is just not tactful. The others look fine depending on rest of the interior.

it all would be painted red to match the outside of the car. in the one pic i posted with the blue console painted and everything all i was trying to show was how the controls on the steering wheel looked when painted. everything would be color matched velocity red to match the outside of the car and all im looking to paint is the interior door handles, the stereo controls on the steering wheel, the rotor in the seats, the cover leading to the trunk and the Zeta arm cushion that im ordering shortly...sorry for the blue confussion

It's not just that it's the blue. If all you wanted to paint is the door handles, and everything else in those two pictures then you might get away with it. Having that much color on small things like that is just too loud.

i say paint as much as possible as long as you have some contrast. that pic of the center console all painted looks like to much. i would have left the silver trim on the sides alone or atleast painted it black. but red from the front to back and then on the truck cover would look pretty good. as far as small things the door handles, yes. the little steering wheel control surrounds, yes. the rotors in the seats, sure why not. but the trim rings on the ac vents and the ***** on the hvac and those door panels would be overdoing it imo. good luck and post pics when your done.

yea im not planning to paint the whole center console, the only thing i would paint there would be the rotor on top of the Zeta cushion. but as far the trim rings and ac vents im staying away from. but if i decide to go through with it i will post pics
