I was recently messing with my rx-8 when i shorted the alternator when i dropped a screwdriver, there was some sparks and now the car will not start. The key turns, light up the dash, headlights work, horn works, wipers work, however nothing in the interior works: radio, interior lights, Aux inputs. I believe the entire interior fuse box is blown, if this is possible. The Clutch sensor isnt engaging, which is why the car will not turn over to start. Is there a master fuse for this box, like the one on the battery? I've checked all the fuses, both by eye and by sending a current through. Could it be wiring, is the a alternator master fuse? Any help is much appreciated. =D

We have fuses both in the driver's kick and under the hood. One of which blows if you were to hook jumper cables up backwards. I'm guessing that's the same fuse you've blown.
