Fog/haze inside cluster...

What do you guys think of this? The flash on the camera really made it stand out.. it doesn't look THIS bad in daylight but it shows you guys what it is.. any ideas on what it is and more importantly how to remove it?

The picture only shows it on the left gauge display but whatever it is is on all 3 panels...

Are you 100% sure it is on the inside and not some overspray of a dash protectant?

ugh, okay.. so.. bah.

i tried using a isopropyl alcohol pad and it 'flared' up.. i think this is what created this haze in the first place because it looks like i made it worse, much worse.

any ideas?

On a prior vehicle I had a similar problem and I used a Rain X type product and it sort of "conditioned" the plastic and it helped reduce the haze.......don't know if that would make yours better or worse.
