fan going out.. need help

There is a fan in my dash somewhere that is going out. I can tell it's for the AC/Heat - if I turn them to 0 (off) the fan stops, but if they are on (1 or higher) the fan is on and buzzing like a fan motor going out, it doesn't speed up if I turn the ac/heat up so I don't think it's the main blower fan.. any ideas what fan and where it might be?

Well... There's only one fan.

So, when you turn on the fan, there's a buzzing noise... But the noise doesn't seem to increase in frequency with the fan speed. (Is that what you are saying?)
