I emailed Auto Meter to see if they were thinking about offering a single or dual pod for the steering column. I will be mounting a wideband gauge there and am looking for options for a clean install. Here is what the guy from Auto Meter replied back. Maybe if we have enough people on here that are interested we could get one made?

Thank you for your interest in Auto Meter Products.

Unfortunately at this time we do not offer a pod for your application. We also do not have any official plans to release a pod for the RX8, as we have not seen much demand for this item. However, I have forwarded your email to our New Product Development Team for review. If we decide to move forward with your request I will contact you via email.

Also, unfortunately we do not offer any custom product services in our Gauge Works products because all of our pods and pillars are direct molds of existing factory pieces. Manufacturing a new pod is very expensive and very time consuming, so we only introduce pods for applications we know have a lot of demand. If you would like to see a pod for your RX8 I would encourage you to have other RX8 owners send us emails requesting a pod for your application. The only way we can justify coming out with a pod on your application is if we saw quite a bit of demand, and unfortunately I rarely hear of pod requests for your vehicle.
