car alarm question
I just got viper 5906v and wanted to ask what exactly is Xpresskit.
If I buy xpresskit, does that mean that I can unlock/lock door, unlock trunk, remote start, and do other things over CANbus? so just power/ground/ign wire for the 5906v and canbus wires for the xpresskit unit, and that's all I need to wire?
or do I still need to go wire all the unlock switches/starter/etc with the xpresskit?
I have plenty experience with wiring, but never dealt with car alarms before. thanks in advance.

if I don't use it... how do I wire up the door unlock/lock? it seems we have 1 wire lock/unlock.. and the alarm unit grounds the signal when I send unlock or lock in 2 wires.
do I just connect 1000ohm resistor in one wire and leave other wire blank, and connect both wires to the single rx8 wire?
