I searched around for almost two hours and couldnt find anything like this...

I want to be able to watch DVDs on my stock navigation system, but I still want to be able to use the navigation if i want to!

Can I change the dvd/navi unit? Or can I make the stock player work???

yes you can,nav-tv has an interface that will work quite well.

I know how to use search, im new to this forum but im not stupid...I just didnt find a thread talking about what I wanted to do...but I guess ill keep looking!

What you need is an video switch and dvd player. To switch the screen between the nav and dvd player.
