Brake Handle Revisited

I brought this up once before and wanted to bring it up again in case things have changed recently.

Has anyone seen an after market brake handle without the "loop" on it that lies lower to the center console as well?

Just curious, that is my only big gripe about the interior. I am sure it is only a matter of time before someone makes a replacement.

greese...I'm looking too...my girlfriend keeps getting things hooked on it when she sits down in the car (one day it's her purse, next her skirt...it is annoying...

plus I want a leather wrapped one but don't want to pay out for the super expensive mazda part...

I'm searching but it may come down to this:
-cut off loop....depending on whether it was a hollow piece or not...either sand down smooth or fill in with filler.... then I can create my own leather wrap to slide on (correction...my girlfriend can make the leather wrap to slide on)

I'll photoshop an idea later this week
