Bose system the same as an Acura TL's?

So I almost have my RX8 (filling out some paperwork on a 2005 RX8 manual, Titanum gray).

It has the 6-disc CD changer which is my searching was right, is the Bose sound system.

I am currently driving my sister's Acura 3.2 TL which has a Bose sound system. I noticed that the speakers look VERY similar in pics. I haven't ripped the door panels off the Acura to confirm but I was wondering if anyone else knew?

I don't know if I want to maintain the stock system, or use my setup that I had on my MX-3 (Powerbass 6.5" S-6C front speakers/tweeters, Soundstorm Labs F4-400, 400 watt 4 channel amp, rockford fosgate 1000w amp, memphis audio dual 12" subs).

If I used the MX-3's setup, I would probably not use the Rockford fosgate amp or subs. I'd want to go with 1 12" sub probably to maintain room in the trunk. The dual sbus cramped my trunk in the MX.. no room at all

I just don't know what I'd want to do in that matter. I mean the sound system I had in the MX would be good $$'s.. and I don't think the bose system in my sister's is that bad.. it's not near as good as my aftermarket setup, but not bad..

Doubtful. One's a Toyota and one's a Mazda. Don't think I've ever seen identical factory systems between manufacturers.
