If I wanted to get 'drop-in' replacements, how could I use the Bose amps with those speakers? I'm going to leave the question open-ended for now, since you guys will probably respond with some info I hadn't even thought of.
After I do the drop-ins, I'd probably add a self-amplified sub, or perhaps a sub with a small amplifier. The goal is to make the installation simple and straightforward, and without a lot of investment.
Thanks!

For direct replacements utilizing the amps to their potential and not risking overtaxing them you will need the following:
FRONT
4 ohm tweeters (powered from the main amp)
.5 ohm front mids (powered from the front door amps)
4 ohm center speaker (powered from the main amp)
REAR
2 ohm components or coax (powered from the main amp)
The rear configuration is easy. The front, however, would be a little more tricky to attain. I think most people have just been putting a good set of 2 ohm components in the front, running off of the front door amp, and have been satisfied.
