Bose Amp Wattage/RMS

I couldn't find this anywhere. Anyone know how many watts, or the RMS rating, of the Bose Amp for the rear speakers and rear tweaters? I'm thinking of upgrading and wondering if I should just go ahead and get a new amp too.

Thanks,
BlackNoir

you can reuse the bose amp if you're just swapping out the rear deck speakers. I believe they run at 2 omhs. Infiniti Kappa's FTW!!! (see my Stereo upgrade thread)

That thread I found earlier, thanks for that. I probably will go with the Infinity's. The question though isn't if I can use the Bose amp, it's how much power does the Bose amp actually put out? I'm trying to decide if keeping it is worth it or if I should get something bigger to fully drive the new rear speakers.

rear speakers are a waste of time, use that money to give yourself better front fill instead.

My fronts are ok right now but my rears sound crappy.. I'm going to disconnect them first to make sure they're the problem, but I'm pretty sure they are.. and I like the midrange that they provide.

Once I get those sorted out I'll move to the front speakers. Course, I spose I could just replace them all I can use the bose amps.. hmmm

I wouldn't say rear speakers are a waste of time, but they definitely aren't as important as the fronts.

Rears, for most listeners, are only used for fill. I personally set my gain (or fade) so that the rears are just audible. As of right now, I have 75W to the front and rear, but the rear gain is almost all the way down.

You can easily upgrade the rear speakers, use the stock amp on them and buy a nice 2 channel amp to push some new front components.

Jedi, did you replace your fronts? The list in your thread just mentions the tweeters.
