Is that a Bose amp in the trunk?
I'm no audiophile. One day as I was rummaging in the rx-8's trunk, i noticed what looks to be a metallic block with heatsink-like fins attached to the top of the trunk in b/w the rear speakers. Is that the Bose amp? IIRC, it has no subwoofer right?

why the need for more than 1 amp? 'cuse my noobness. I didn't know the door speakers were subs. Are you sure? I don't find the sound quality that good especially the lows. Any good settings to recommend for the stock audio set-up?

no highs or lows, must be bose.
The rear deck speakers, and the front tweeters can both be replaced with no real modification to the stereo system. Just drop them in. you should check out the audio install reference sticky. All your answers are there.
