best place for a sub

i been thinking of putting a sub here ever since i got the car - 2 months ago - and i had too much free time the last few days - i got the bose sytem - so i didnt wanna go bi with the subs - plus i want a trunk - i go to the beach a few times a week - i need that trunk to store all that beeer - mm - ok - the best thing i could think of - a great small sub - tucked in a cool looking spot - that takes up no usefull room - and here it is - oh yeah - this is the first box i ever built - i always just buy them - but in this case- couldnt do it - later - its a boston g1 8" sub - i got the amp coming in the mail - couldnt wait to try to get that sub in there - back is killin me today - lol - best place for a sub-08-29-08_0840.jpg

Those kind of installs are always a bit flashy for my personal tastes, but they sure do look good.

Unless you are a wizard in building a great box that does wonders, the 8" sub just ain't gonna cut it... too small. I should know...

2 alpine type S subs on a ported box, with the alpine to puch it i hit 134 dbs with stock radio

The only thing was taking the back seats out to put the box in, but it went in perfect and was done in 2.5 hours

Uh... you cut out the cross braces?

if you measure 7 3/4 wide - you dont have to cut the braces - i didnt - forsome weird reason i measured 8 3/4 so i did have to cut them - oh well -didnt want to - but had to make it fit - prob not a great idea - but if i ever sell the car - the sub will go with it - im still waiting for the slow *** fed ex ground to bring my amp and amp kit - ill pos more pics when i finish.

what did you do to the back side? i think this is how iam going to do my install.
