I was interested in changing my interior lights to red and was wondering if anyone had tried the rx8 strakes led lights. The links are posted below so has anyone had any experience with these? How do they look in person? Are they bright enough compared to the stock lights? That offering by them is fairly new I think, so it's not real likely that anyone would have installed the whole set yet. I do have the discontinued Stealth brake light from them and haven't had any issues. I also bought my Strakes there and again no real issues.

ya i ordered red led for my clear corners adn they are really bright.. i think rx8strakes puddle lights would be comparable

I have the inside lights for the door and maptlights. The mapslights for the back and front are noticeable the door light are super bright. Its a cool added touch but they are bright.

i installed the side marker & the door and back lights ... the back lights aren't as bright as i had expected but they all kick ***...

thx to dave @ rx8strakes for very prompt delivery and excellent cust service as per usual... only thing i got on him about was that they jus put up the maplights after i bought the others... but no worries i jus bundled some other stuff and bought em too

my car is the one on the customer gallery. they arent amazingly bright but they're nice. i kept my dome lights white thought just incase i needed to see something that that i didnt want to be red.

I have been thinking about buying them too. They look to be plenty bright and maybe too bright in some cases. Hopefully somewhere here has them and can give an honest answer.

i ordered the super blue dome, maps, and courtesy lights from rx8strakes and they are awesome! i'm sure this goes for every other color as well but at night it will most definitely be hella bright. shipping was super fast too. i suggest you get these to add a cool little something for your car

In fact, I sometimes use the passenger map light to read stuff! They look boss, though. Plus my wife hates 'em!

I installed their door and dome lights LED Red. They were really inexpensive and a pretty cool mod I think, uniques but not cheesy at all. I love the red glow when it is in my pitch black garage. My next mods are red footwell lights, underhood red LEDs and red strip LEDs over my subwoofer box in the trunk. I am also thinking about the puddle lights but not sure yet. I am also going to design a custom harness lighting package for other interior apps.

I have the red interior LEDs from RX8Strakes. Planning on getting the red puddle lights and trying his interior led's against the rx8strakes ones.
The rx8 strakes door led's are bright (brighter than I would expect) but the dome LED is not quite as bright as I would have hoped for. I also have the footwell LED's. Overall it looks quite nice. Just wish the dome light were as bright as the footwell LED's.

I kept my map lights white so I could read something if needed. Also they are not as quick of a change as the door/dome. If they were I may have gone red there as well.

Worth the 14 dollar investment.

I definetly will be getting my hands on these light. It is such a cheap way to add some style to your interior.

Yeah- I say go for it- I swapped out my door courtesy lights, dome lights and side markers to red, and changed the maplights to the ultra bright light.

small mod to do but worth it for the little amount of effort required.

I must say that alan is pretty cool for sending me a new set because these ******* retard mail deliverers out here in Los Angeles marked my package as delivered but they never sent it but anyways...... im going to install them at see how they look at night... Ill post pics when theyre done

Changing the interior lights can get addictive. I even found blue leds for the mirror lights in the visors.
