amp mounting question

I'm in the process of installing 2 10" subs and a an amp. Im just not sure where to mount the amp. Do you think the backboard is strong enough to hold a amp up? I've seen one pic of it.

that back piece is pretty thin. Depends on the size of the amp I guess. Here's how I mounted mine:

I'm with Jedi, that is by far the best place in the back of the car, plenty of room to hide everything, and mount it properly. We did a false floor in mine, so that sucker ain't going nowhere

oh nevermind. i found your thread on your install. i only have the 650.1 and not the 1200.1, so it should be a little smaller than yours.

I wasn't able to fit the cap and the amp in there because the retaining clips on the Cap made it stand up too tall. if you can secure the cap in a different manner, it might be possible. I decided to put the cap on that back panel for "cool" factor purposes.
