Alert with Shock Sensor -- sensivity

My dealer installed my shock sensor (with a normal "sensitivity" zone) -- one night, I parked the car in an underground garage and it was set-off by the low-level rumbling of other cars passing by (i guess with their vibrations, etc)... anyways, the concierge told me that it was going for at least 5-10 min.

A few days later, both horns stopped working (dealer said they were melted down totally) -- replaced one for new...

I've completed turned this down for now -- might manually turn it up depending on the environment i park in...

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Sucks pretty bad Ron. I'm assuming the dealer had some kind of instructions on testing an installed unit for sensitivity.

Not sure

Mine was installed at the port and I'm not sure if it is working properly if at all!
At first, there was this “clicking sound” and the interior lights were flashing on and off when I hit certain bumps in the road. Shouldn't this sensor be totally disarmed when the ignition key is on???
After the sensitivity was turned down, it stopped the clicking and flashing lights almost completely (they still flash occasionally on some bumps). I still don’t know if the thing was installed properly so I am going to have the dealer check it when I go for my first service.
I was not happy at all with the quality of the work done by the port installers. There were two other problems with port installed options which will also be rectified when I return to the dealer.
