My A/C light turns on when I start my RX8, even though the car did not have the A/C on when the car was previously stopped. This does not happen all the time.

I have taken it in for warranty, and the dealer says that the light turns on if you leave the car in defrost mode.

Do other people experience this same issue?

Yep. I get the same behavior whenever I leave the defrost on and the car is shut off.
