2004 RX8 does it play CD-RW discs? (does not have mp3 support)

As the topic indicates: 2004 RX8 bose audio system.. will it play cd-rw media? I don't have the mp3 addon support.

It should play the cd-rw as long as it's formatted like a normal CD. It won't read mp3's. Ipod Adapter?

I think i remember some people still having trouble with burned disks even if they were properly formatted as regular CD audio.. they would play but skip for no reason what-so-ever..

My suggestion is to get the MP3 Player drive.. it's worth EVERY SINGLE penny

I know this thread is old, however, this may help some people. I have found that burnt CD's in my 2004 RX8 skip like they were curb stomped after a week or two for no reason. I have found that if you burn the CD at a slower speed, I used 16x, then it doesnt happen anymore. Well, it hasnt happen for about 5 weeks now and 5 weeks is long enough I need a new CD. Hope it helps everyone else with the same problem

Before I went carpc I was able to play 99 minute (overburned @ 4X) cdr discs with no issue.
