Does anyone know if the '09 with nav will display anything with the ipod adapter installed? Meaning, can I control the ipod using the nav screen, or does any info from the ipod show up on the screen?
I did do a search and about all I get are posts that don't relate to the nav screen or posts that deal with aftermarket solutions. I'm NOT looking for aftermarket solutions.

Not really, the aux in does not give you control over the device, just a "dumb" input. I like being able to control the ipod using the steering wheel controls. I do this on my MINI and wouldn't drive without it. For my taste the aux in is useless, I like the integration of the adapter.
