Shiny bits!

Ok I'm new to this forum and live in the UK, theres a guy in germany that sell some nice RX8 bits and he imports from the US - so i figure they are available somewhere over the pond and may be cheaper for me to import direct.

this is the website http://www.ctd-germany.com/shops/rx8/shop_e/index.php

interested in the caps for the oil, power steering and washer fluid, amongst other things - any of you guys got a line on this stuff??????

apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere - blame it on a noob

cheers

Well--some of the stuff he has I've never seen before--I'm interested in getting them over here in the US.

Try on ebay, exactly the same things available in USD, and wil ship to UK, but MUCH cheaper than the prices on CTD. There is a really nice plain (not engraved) rotar shaped one for the washer bottle.

Also you can get some really cheap MS oil caps, but beware they heat up quite a bit!!!

Just about everything he sells is either a Mazda accessory or available on eBay. And his prices are WAY high...

Yeah, I got my spoiler from there, but I did find a couple of other places that stocked the same design, one in the UK, but the price we identical after converting the currency, plus the shipping was actually cheaper from Germany than within the UK!

So some of the stuff is as cheap as you can get it elsewhere, but in general if you can get things from the US, even after TAX and shipping it works out cheaper.

You guys in the US are lucky in that in general eveything is about 25% cheaper than in the UK / Europe. Not sure why - bigger market I guess

I liked the floor mats. I've been trying to find a source for mats with the heelplate. I remember there was a Sport Floormat available from Mazda in Japan, but as far as I know we have yet to see a LHD version of that mat. I'll have to look on Ebay...
