Rotor B Pillar Trim
Anyone know where to get the B Pillar Trim panels that have the RX8 rotor symbol at the botton (not the RX8 text or Mazdaspeed logo) in the US? I have seen these on the Mazda UK site, but nowhere in the US. Also I am looking for the illuminating manual gear shift **** (the one that lights up with red lettering) available in Australia. Any help in finging these items would be appreciated..

dude, you have 26 post and you don't even know where to buy them??????
i'm not sure which ROTOR you're talking about, if you want the SpiritR logo, you'll be able to find it at Ebay, just type RX8 and start browsing.
if you're talking about some OEM logos, you can find them at our vendor's forum, just search on each of them for their product, i'm sure you can find it.
the shift **** you can get it from www.trussvillemazda.com.
these are some "easy to find" parts man, i'm stucking on some impossible to get parts right now.............~_~
good luck dude

www.canzoomer.com and www.jt-imports.com have the b pillar you're looking for. I've been looking for them too. They seem a bit expensive considering the price of the other b pillar trims. If anyone finds them cheaper please let post the site.

The gear stick is available in the UK also.
However, I'm on to my 8th one. They keep failing, the light starts to strobe then stops working in the even gears and eventually in all gears. Given that I can claim this against the warranty it ok for me, however I'd be worried about getting one and not having a warranty on it, as they seem to be fragile. There are LOTs of cases in the UK where people are on their 5th, 6th replacement.
I have to say that Mazda did a factory investigation and found the fault to be associated with the wiring loom getting crushed round the gear-stick. Added some more insulation to the wiring loom. However, this was fitted to all stocks in the UK in July 04. Since then I had a replacement fitted and it only lasted 3 weeks before failing.
I have informed the dealer that if this (number 8) fails, I'll be swapping back to the original gear stick and swapping for either the bonnet stay dampners, or the interior piano black inserts as enough is enough.
Just wanted to warn you that you may have this problem and not have a course of action to get it fixed without having to do so yourself.
The B-pillar trim is great though, will see if I can find a close up of it - really finishes off the car.
