Removing Mazdaspeed Kit

I bought my RX8 about a year ago from a dealership and it has an authentic Mazdaspeed kit on it.

I want to return the car back to stock looking.

Does the kit replace the entire back bumper or is it just an addon? Will I need to purchase an entire front and back bumper?

Will the side skirts leave holes in the body of the car? and does anything replace them OEM?

Whats the going rate on a used authentic mazdaspeed kit (with a pretty crappy front bumper)? The rest of the kit is great.

Thanks in advance!

Rear is a cut and add-on..so you would need a complete rear. You might be able to swap with someone that wants your MS kit..what color is the car??

|Front and sides are bolt on/off so you would be good to go with the stock bumper

Thanks for the info.

The car is Brilliant Black. The front bumper is in very rough condition from the previous owner and some of the mounting tabs are broken I think. It would definitely need a repair and repaint but the grills are there as well as the foglights.

I'd probably want to keep the Mazdaspeed spoiler, though.

I'd consider taking the sides off you.
Send me a pm if you're interested

It really depends on the condition of the kit as a whole.

If the side skirts were installed properly there will be holes drilled into the bottom of the sides to attach them. Removing them will be a bitch, and leave holes that nothing OEM is going to cover.

How big of a hole? Is it visible or can I just put a plug in there?

Thanks!
