Question Painted Lower Front Lip ?

I was thinking of painting the lower front lip of my RX-8. I do not have the Mazdaspeed bodykit on it, it's just standard factory. Mine is sunlight silver and I would like to paint just the bottom portion not including the middle rotary accent. This I think would make it look a lot better.

Did anybody do this already ?? How does it look ?? Any pics perhaps ??

Also where can I find the color specs for the sunlight silver paint. I was thinking of doing it myself.

Here's the link to the paint codes:

My question is, why don't you just buy the OEM front air dam? I think it's about $200-300 on ebay. That's probably the look you were shooting for. It looks like you don't have the OEM front air dam. I'm guessing you have the black plastic piece?
