Painted exhaust shrouds/rear diffusers

Does anyone have any pics of their rear diffuser/exhause shroud painted. Im thinking of getting my painted but want to see it on someone elses first

yeah im thinking of getting mine painted too, but i want to see what it would look like. I wouldnt know what to do with the fake plastic mesh inside tho

I have a friend in Tuscon that got his rear bumper done like this, all painted, and the fake plastic mesh replaced with real aluminum mesh. He posts on here but not much (Chamberlin is his username). I'll try to find a pic for ya.

it would probably look fine if you painted it and just left the black mesh alone. Kinda how the opening in the front looks.

This is easy to do. I am doing mine in a couple of weeks. I have a spray gun and do painting already. You just need to prep that plastic piece that you are painting perfectly... Any local area car painting supply place can guide you on how to do so...
That Picture is exactly what i am going to do with the wire mesh...

Well, you don't need to have that painted. you can just cut it out and install a mesh grill. Just wanted to show an example of what it might look like, it's the best that I could find..

i think ill still get a real mesh grill though. But that looks good tho now, it looks more expensive dont you think

It looks 100% better than the painted plastic grill. A real mesh grill will make it look even better, especially it will actually vent and release the hot air from the exhaust system.

that part is attached to the bumper, i got some diamond black mesh so now im painting it

Where did you get it and what about the exhaust shroud? Did you get a new one of are you still using the one I gave you?

i got a new one from mazda, 50 dollars. I go tthe mesh from custom car grills dude

$50 is not bad.. Are you gonna cut the rotor triangle part, too? I think you should, it will make it look good..
