Opinions on exterior trim --

I've had a plan for some stainless steel fender flares in the works and I haven't really eveer seen any other rx8's with them nor found anywhere you can buy some higher quality stainless steel ones. So before I go out and see about getting something custom fabricated I bought some cheap trim crap and put it on tonight to get an idea of if it's worth it... I also put some around the windows - any thoughts?

No worries, I took them off about an hour ago already guys, as I said it was just an experiment. I just prefer to try and shake things up and do things differently, after all if you do the same things as everybody else you can only expect the same results. I'll just keep trying things differently on it until I get something that looks good.

Welcome aboard!!!

That's not shaking things up. Every 85' Cutlass in San Antonio had crap like that on it. Don't ever experiment with your Shinka again.

Well, the next thing to go on it is a blower.. first I need to take off the hood so I can cut the hole for it and... I kid I kid

Anyway If i ever test anything out i'd only do something that can be easily taken off

Customizing an 8 is like making love to a new woman for the first time...you're always trying new things with her to make her completely your own! Hell.... half the fun with women and cars is seeing "what you can get away with". But what you spent on chrome tape could have bought you some detailing stuff...
