New HID Foglight Projectors

Finally found some time these past couple of days to create some brackets and mount the projectors to the OEM foglight housing.

The first picture is the final product and the last four show the small metal brackets to modify the OEM foglight housing

The pictures give off a lot of blue, but in person they are all white. The fogs add so much more lighting, its ridiculous!

The last few pics are in my garage.

The 3rd pic is without my fogs and the last pic has them turned on. You definitely see a difference and see the cutoffs with the new fog projectors.

I just got done taking these right after work so I'll try to post some more during the day time tomorrow if I get a chance...

That's all for now!

The first set of pictures shows the brackets I made to modify the foglight housing.

Otherwise I pretty much followed Rotary Rasp's HID Foglight and HID Projector DIY.

The bulbs are H3s from therpmstore and the projectors are the Hella DE Foglight kit.

The hardest part was creating the brackets for the housing. I also had to modify the projectors since I didn't use the bulbs that came with the Hella DE kit and had to solder the wires for the HID kit to the foglight wires. Other than that it was pretty straight forward.

Here are the day time pics. Yes the car needs a wash, but oh well.

The install wasn't really as hard as I thought, it was just time consuming.

c41250n I would totally make you a batch, but I've had my fogs and HIDs since about February and I've just now found time to put them all on. School and work cut into modding so much. Sorry man. I'd just suggest following Rotary Rasp's DIY and analyze the pictures until you get a game plan. That's what I ended up doing and they turned out just fine. Let me know if you have any questions!
